Lolly insists on having one each time Luke earns one.
I really was not ready to potty train Luke.  He had absolutely NO interest in it, and actually cried each time I made him "try."  With Tyler and Trey, I potty trained them when they were 3 1/2.  They really hadn't showed any interest in being potty trained, but once I decided it was time, they were potty trained within a few days (without any accidents, day or night).  For some reason, though, Luke has had a much more difficult time with potty training.  Besides his complete lack of interest (he wants to be a "big boy" in every sense of the word- but still wear diapers), Luke has had a hard time catching on, and I'll admit, I'm a pretty lousy potty trainer.  With 5 kids- including a new baby- potty training was not at the top of my priority list.  Ben kept telling me- "He's old enough...you need to do it."  And I'd tell him, "If you're so excited about it- you do it!"  And neither one of us wanted to do it.

Nazz Kart- April 22, 2010

One of our dairy vendors sponsored a fun family night at an awesome place in Twin Falls- Nazz Kart.  They had a climbing wall, a bounce house for the kids, a batting cage, mini golf, and go-carts to race.  We had free reign of the place- it was so fun!
Ben, Tyler and I did the climbing wall.  We pretty much had to make Tyler try it- he was terrified at first, but then he loved it.
And the go-carts?  They were AWESOME!!!  They were only for age 8 and up.  I worried about Tyler driving them, but he did amazing (he was a better driver than me).  They time your laps as you race around- Ben is certain I had one of the slowest times ever recorded on the track.  :)
Tyler golfing:
When we first got there, Trey was having a great time doing flips in the bouce house and playing, but he suddenly became very sick.  He had a fever and felt miserable.  The onset was so sudden that we were quite nervous, and left quickly.  We contemplated taking him straight tot he ER (last summer, there were three separate times he became sick very suddenly, and each time, he ended up going to Primary Children's for a few days).  As we were nearing the hospital (Nazz Kart was about 45 minutes away), Trey seemed to be doing a bit better, so we decided to take him home (although he did end up in the ER the next day!).
Very sleepy kids:
