It's fitting that we named him "Luke" because he might be the most obsessed with Star Wars of all our boys (and was before he'd ever seen any of the movies). He constantly carries his light saber with him, and makes sure to always take it to bed during his nap.
He often walks around, humming the Star Wars theme all the time.
He's really interested in music. Every day, when we drive Trey to kindergarten, he asks me what the songs on the radio are called, and asks me to turn in up if he really likes the song.
I like to play "Name that Tune" with him, and am amazed at the songs and artists he knows and remembers. He can recognize almost any Taylor Swift song- often with just a few notes of the beginning- before she even sings a word. He always hopes the song "Big Green Tractor" song, by Jason Aldean, will come on when we're in the car.
He wants to say the prayer on the food every time, and whenever he prays, he always prays for "Grandpa's Trailer Truck" (and sometimes, that's the only thing he prays for).
He HATES HATES HATES to be called "little." Please, don't EVER call him little!
He's the sweetest 3-year-old we've ever known. Both Tyler and Trey were difficult 3-year-olds, and although Luke has his occasional melt down, he really is the sweetest little boy.
