As mentioned in the post below, the night before, at Nazz Kart, Trey became sick very suddenly. We contemplated taking him right to the E.R., but decided to watch him overnight. The next morning, Trey was still very sick.
But still had a little energy to be silly:
I called our family doctor, and because he knew Trey's history (every time he got sick last summer, he got a one-way ticket to Primary Children's) and he knew they'd need to draw blood, he told us to take Trey to the E.R. instead of coming into the office.
Ben took him in.
And luckily, they were home just a few hours later (thank goodness!). He did have some sort of unknown infection, but his white blood count was not high enough to cause alarm, so they sent him home with antibiotics, and he was feeling good within a few days.
Luke kept him company on our bed:
Then Lolly came in, too.
We are always very grateful when a little infection doesn't turn into a big problem (and a hospital stay) for Trey.
